END_OBJECT = TEXT END BROWSE Directory Contents The BROWSE directory contains reduced-size, easily viewed versions of the Mars Express SPICAM standard data products in Portable Network Graphic format. Browse image names are based on the PRODUCT_ID of the data product that they represent, following the pattern of xxx.PNG. The BROWSE directory follows the same naming convention as the DATA directory. Browse files provided by the SPICAM team will have the following name: SPIM_YYT_nnnnnAnn_M_vv_QL.PNG where YY 2 letters describing the SPICAM data level (eg. 0A, 1A, 1B, ...) T 1 letter describing the type of data collected (U for UV and R for IR) nnnnn 5 digits for the orbit number Ann sequence number indicating the order that data were collected for the nnnn orbit (A1, A2,...). M 1 letter describing the type operation mode (eg. E:STAR, S:SUN, L:LIMB, N:NADIR, Y:SKY, P:PHOBOS, D:DEIMOS, T:CALIBRATION) vv version number of the file note : For the CRUISE phase the orbit number is not applicable. The 5 digits will contain the day of the year of the observation (2003), preceeded by the letter N for the Near Earth Verification Phase, or by the letter C for the Interplanetary Cruise phase.
