     This information file describes the SOFTWARE directory, which            
contains source code which should be of use to the HRSC Archive               
user.                                                                         
                                                                              
This directory contains two zip files:                                        
GEOCAL.ZIP and MINIVICAR.ZIP                                                  
                                                                              
MINIVICAR.ZIP contains software to display the HRSC images, to convert these  
images to other image formats, and to generate higher data processing levels. 
GEOCAL.ZIP contains the geometric calibration files of the HRSC,              
these files are required to run the geometric correction programs in          
MINIVICAR (hrortho and frameortho).

This software was tested under Linux (RedHat Enterprise) and Solaris          
(Solaris 9) operating system. It may run also under other UNIX                
operating system but no support will be available.
