Solar Wind Monitor (SWIM) sensor of the SARA experiment is an ion-ma- 
ss analyser which detects ions in the energy range 100 eV- 3 keV with 
an energy resolution of ~7% and capable of finding the mass of ions d-
etected. SWIM consists of mainly 3 subsystems, which are a deflection 
system, at the entrance for scanning the varoius directions, an energy
 analysis system and a system to provide the time of flight analysis. 
It is capable of resolving the mass groups H+, He++, He+, O++, O+ and 
 > 20 amu. Data from SWIM is sent to the DPU (Digital Processing Unit)
 which does the processing of time-integration, binning and packetise 
 the data and send to the telemetry.The basic measurement cycle for   
SWIM is 8s.
