Abstract This dataset contains ROSETTA NAVCAM RAW DATA of the Escort Phase from 10th Feb 2015 to 10th Mar 2015 when at the vicinity of target 67P/CG. This data set V1.1 supersedes the V1.0. It includes updates of the Browse images, adding of the FITS version, clarification of calibration target, document updates and resolve other minor outstanding errata.
Description Data Set history: This data set is version V1.1. The changes from the V1.0 are listed below: - Full size BROWSE images - FITS versions added in EXTRAS directory - label content consistent with comet phase datasets - target names and types revised, mainly for 'CALIBRATION' of V1.0 - ERRATA of V1.0 addressed and removed (image orientation and geometry keywords). - updated EAICD version - GEO_NAVCAM*_INDEX and NAVCAM*_INDEX added into the INDEX directory. Data Set Overview: The data from the Rosetta Navigation Camera (NavCam) was extracted by Bernhard Geiger; the data set was constructed and submitted by Maud Barthelemy on behalf of the Planetary Science Archives (PSA). The data have been observed and measured from 10th Feb 2015 to 10th Mar 2015. The frequency of the navigation slots was of one 2x2 raster every five hours, with interruption by manoeuvres. This gave 517 navigation images. In addition, 257 context images have been taken. This makes a total of 774 images. Three images of one raster (2015-02-21T04:15:00) were lost at downlink due to bad weather. In addition, there are 6 navigation images with lost rows. The list can be found in the DOCUMENT directory. Five context image has been taken with lost rows (due to bad weather). The orbiter was executing a far fly-by arc in the terminator plane at distances between 50km and 100km. This fly-by was followed by a close fly-by at 8km from the comet center at zero degree phase angle. Then, the outbound trajectory was captured at a distance of 255km in the terminator plane.
