The next pass is Tuesday afternoon (our time). We wanted to mention that from the Sunday pass, the LCP channels did not look right. We are recording X-RCP, X-LCP, S-RCP, and S-LCP. The 70-m stations should provide those channels. What we noticed is that for each band, the same spectrum appeared in both polarizations, as if they received the same input. There has not been a Briefing Message on this, and that is OK, but can you please look into the configuration described above with the station as soon as you get a chance. RSR open-loop data were recorded and played back as follows: - X-band RCP, 2-way - RSR2B1 - 2 kHz, 16 bits - start = 22:28:00 - stop = 01:35:00 - SFDUs = 11,221 and: - S-band RCP, 2-way - RSR2A1 - 2 kHz, 16 bits - start = 22:28:00 - stop = 01:35:00 - SFDUs = 11,221 These data should now be available on the RS TDS for you to query. NOTES: 1) The station was apparently not configured to provide an LCP signal to the RSR, as RSR1 was set to receive LCP but the signal levels were the same as on RSR2. The NOPE will investigate and be available for the pass on DOY 283. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- From LCarrillo@jftl.jpl.nasa.gov Wed Nov 15 15:14:13 2006 Return-Path: Received: from jftl.jpl.nasa.gov (jftl.jpl.nasa.gov [128.149.207.22]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.11.7p2+Sun/8.11.7) with ESMTP id kAFNEDF05481 for ; Wed, 15 Nov 2006 15:14:13 -0800 (PST) Received: from jftl.jpl.nasa.gov (Not Verified[128.149.207.21]) by jftl.jpl.nasa.gov with MailMarshal (v6,1,5,586) id ; Wed, 15 Nov 2006 15:14:15 -0800 Received: by jftl-mm.jpl.nasa.gov with Internet Mail Service (5.5.2657.72) id ; Wed, 15 Nov 2006 15:14:18 -0800 Message-ID: <88AB5DE488E2F84493F94DF423EE26D0201B1C@jftl-mm.jpl.nasa.gov> From: "Carrillo, Lorena" To: "'Dick Simpson 650-723-3525'" Cc: rmdc@zeus.jpl.nasa.gov, DSN-MPSETD Subject: 248 RMDC RS Delivery Date: Wed, 15 Nov 2006 15:14:13 -0800 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.2657.72) Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----_=_NextPart_001_01C7090B.69082AA0" Content-Length: 4479 Status: RO This message is in MIME format.
