Gene and Danny warned me about a possible S-Band swap a couple experiments ago. In transferring the data to Stanford, I misread their spreadsheet containing the X-Band configuration ... and I swapped X-RCP and X-LCP. It took a while to get it all sorted out. Fortunately, we're pretty sure the spacecraft radiates X-RCP and S-RCP; so I used the carrier-only data to get everything straightened out. I think the data we have at Stanford is correctly labeled; but it would be good to have DSS 14 and RSSG in agreement for future experiments. It makes the real-time monitoring go a lot more smoothly. I was the S-band RCP/LCP >cables that were inadvertently crossed. That fits what Gene and Danny observed. It was my mistake in submitting queries for data that got the X-Band channels backwards. In any case, I think what we have in the box is correctly labeled; and we'll just keep an eye on the signals in future experiments. For what it's worth, the DSS 14 data have been very good so far. There may be some advantages in focusing on a single DSS for these types of experiments. With the exception of a few odd moments (such as this cable swap, which was recoverable), everything looks very good at the 'quick look' processing stage.
