The small trajectory maneuver of 146.6 mm/s was conducted on Sunday. This increasing the orbital period by about 10 seconds, which optimizes the conditions for the upcoming close flybys (274 km, 97 km, and 367 km) of Phobos in mid to late-July. Excellent subsurface sounding data of the North Plains through the Northern Polar Cap are being acquired. MARSIS is also collecting ionospheric sounding data during much of the dayside portion of the orbits. A brief radio occultation season with 6 observations now through July commenced with a successful observation this week. A bistatic radar observation of the North Polar Cap is scheduled for July 3rd.
