Overview:
=========

This data set contains reampled data obtained by the Fluxgate
Magnetometer (RPC-MAG) onboard the ROSETTA spacecraft from the mission Phase
CRUISE 2 (CR2) . The covered time interval is April 5, 2005 until June28, 2006. 

The magnetometer consists of two sensors, the OB and the IB sensor, mounted on 
a spacecraft boom. The instrument provides 3 component magnetic field vector 
data measured by both sensors. In this data set CALIBRATED data in nanotesla
can be found. Additionally to the magnetic field data, HK data like
sensor temperatures, voltages, and filter stages are supplied in calibrated
format.

directories. These directories have up to six subdirectories:

LEVEL_E : (IB,OB)  calibrated, averaged data in Instrument coordinates.
          Normally not sent to PSA
LEVEL_F : (IB,OB)  calibrated, averaged data in S/C coordinates.
LEVEL_G : (IB,OB)  calibrated, averaged data in ECLIPJ2000 coordinates.
LEVEL_H : (IB,OB)  calibrated data in ECLIPJ2000 coordinates. Influence
          of ROSETTA'S reaction wheels has been eliminated. Data delivered
          only in case of disturbance

LEVEL_K : (IB,OB)  calibrated data in S/C coordinates. Influence
          of the Lander heater currents has been eliminated. Data delivered
          only in case of disturbance

LEVEL_L : (IB,OB)  calibrated data in ECLIPJ2000 coordinates. Influence
          of the Lander heater currents has been eliminated. Data delivered
          only in case of disturbance

The ROSETTA project decided that the data would be archived in the PDS
