Open Loop Data ============== Data Collection --------------- We have completed quick-look processing on the following VEX radio occultation RSR open loop data at Stanford: DOY DSS RSR BAND RSR CH KSPS BT REC RECS RSR MAX START STOP ID RS LEN FILE NAME SNR --- --- -------- -------- ---- --- -- ---- -- ----- ----- ------------ ----- 127 43 05:20:00 06:35:00 -/XR 4 2 25 16 25260 18001 7127052A.RSR 67.6 Notes ----- The data from this occultation appear to have been collected successfully (per Sami Asmar's message earlier). A plot from Stanford's quick-look processing is attached in PDF format. The upper left is the histogram of sample values, upper right is the power spectra (3-minute averages), lower left is the power vs time (from the sample values, so all 25 kHz is included), and lower right is the first few lines from the label. From Sami's plot, it appears that the signal drifted +/-7 kHz from its free-space frequency. Our plots show closer to +/-7500 Hz; but in either case, the signal appears to be confined easily to the 25 kHz bandwidth recorded so we will not need the data collected at the higher sampling rates. The raw data file from the VeRa occultation captured at DSS 43 on X-Band has been transferred to jupiter: /raid0/stanford/VEX/RSR/7127052A.RSR
