This is the first report of MEX radio occultation data collected at the DSN during 2016. Open Loop Data ============== Data Collection --------------- We have completed quick-look processing on the following MEX RSR open loop bistatic radar data at Stanford: DOY DSS RSR BAND RSR CH KSPS BT REC RECS RSR MAX START STOP ID RS LEN FILE NAME SNR --- --- -------- -------- ---- --- -- ---- -- ----- ----- ------------ ----- 298 45 11:36:01 12:19:00 X/XR 4 1 2 16 8260 2580 G298113A.RSR 56.5 298 45 11:36:01 12:19:00 X/SR 3 1 2 16 8260 2580 G298113B.RSR 39.1 Anomalies --------- These appear to be good data. There is a diffraction pattern visible in the power versus time plot with 0.05 second sample averaging. The DSN keyword file indicated that X-Band telemetry would be ON through the occultation, but that cannot be determined from the data alone.
