The second four files are noise data collected while the 70-m antenna was pointed toward zenith. The MAX SNR values result from statistical fluctuations in the noise in the first eight files. The last eight files were collected while the antenna was tracking the spacecraft. The maximum surface echo was expected at 06:54 and it was seen in the S-LCP and X-LCP real-time displays. The S-RCP maser was malfunctioning throughout the experiment; it remains to be seen whether useful data can be extracted from that channel, which was predicted to have the weakest surface echo by a substantial margin.
