BepiColombo Solar Intensity X-ray and particle Spectrometer (SIXS) bundle ========================================================================= This bundle contains data and documentation from the BepiColombo Solar Intensity X-ray and particle Spectrometer (SIXS) mounted on the Mercury Planetary Orbiter (MPO). It contains the following primary data collections: browse_calibrated: Browse products are generated for Calibrated SIXS-X and SIXS-P spectrum product calibration_partially_processed and calibration files: SIXS-X calibration files (Calibration spectra, Ancillary Response Files (ARF), Redistribution Matrix Files (RMF) and Background spectra). Calibration files are compatible with XSPEC. SIXS-P calibration mode spectra data_raw: SIXS-X and SIXS-P spectral and housekeeping products; units are digital numbers (DNs), counts or milliseconds, no conversion applied. Products are FITS files with corresponding XML label data_calibrated: SIXS-X and SIXS-P spectrum and housekeeping products, in engineering/physical units. Products are FITS files with corresponding XML label data_derived: derived data are higher level products document: documents necessary for the use and interpretation of the data geometry: products containing geometry information useful to understand the data Each document and data product in this bundle is described by a PDS4 label in a separate file with the same name but with the extension XML. PDS4 labels are XML (eXtended Markup Language) files that conform to the PDS4 Information Model XML schema at https://pds.nasa.gov/pds4/schema/released/. They are best viewed in an XML-aware text editor, and may be used by software that can manipulate XML documents. See these sources for more information. - For information about PDS4, see https://pds.nasa.gov/pds4/about/ Additional information can be found in the bundle and collection labels and document collection.
