Schedule Summary Files

The Schedule Summary Files (SSF) contain a high-level XML representation of the daily schedules.

They were generated by the Scientific Mission Planning System (SMPS) along with the POS and ICP files. The POS, ICP and SSF have matching version numbers.

Format/ICD

• The files are in XML and the tag names make them self explanatory.
• The file name NNNN_VVVV.SSF indicates the OD number NNNN and the version VVVV.

Known Issues

• The original files had the filename extension ".SSF". This has been changed to ".SSF.xml" in this archive to improve rendering in a web browser.

• In a few cases, the onboard timeline for an operational day resulted from uplinking parts of two different versions of the POS file (see README of the pos_icp folder). Merged POS and ICP files were subsequently created manually to reflect the onboard commands. There is no corresponding merged version of the SSF files.
