PSF Files

This directory contains Planning Skeleton Files (PSF).

A PSF is an empty schedule for a single operational Day (OD). It contains the key events and scheduling constraints for the period. The Scientific Mission Planning System (SMPS) adds instrument and pointing commands, resulting in a Planned Observation Sequence (POS) file.

Format/ICD

• Planning Skeleton File ICD, PT-CMOC-FD-ICD-2104-OPS-GFT, issue 1.5, 2008-08-04.
• The file name NNNN_VVVV.PSF indicates the OD number NNNN and version VVVV.
