HIFI Chopper Tests The following 2 chopper tests can be executed during a DTCP, and they do not need to point at any target. They should be scheduled against the current CAL MC H107. HifiEng_Chopper_openloop_scan_cycle_83 HifiEng_Chopper_Response_time_COP_cycle_83 B. Diplexer Cross-Talk Measurements These engineering tests address the cross-talk between polarizations H and V in diplexer bands (3, 4, 6, and 7). They're part of a campaign to validate an optical model of HIFI being developed at SRON and JPL aimed at better characterization / mitigation of side-band ratios and standing waves. These tests do not point at any target and can be scheduled during DTCP. They require a prior LO switch-on: SHORT in bands 3 & 4, LONG in bands 6 & 7. If because of scheduling constraints it is difficult to include all of these tests in cycle 83, it is acceptable to the ICC to delay the tests in bands 6b and 7a until next cycle, at your discretion. These 24 AORs should be scheduled against the current CAL MC H107.
