HIFI Chopper Tests The following 2 chopper tests can be executed during a DTCP, and they do not need to point at any target. They should be scheduled against the current CAL MC H105. HifiEng_Chopper_openloop_scan_cycle_81 HifiEng_Chopper_Response_time_COP_cycle_81 B. FSwitch Test Observations These 3 test observations check on artefacts in HIFI's frequency-switch mode. The observation ending in _dbs and that ending in _fsw1 should be scheduled back-to-back. These three AORs should point at a piece of empty sky as determined by Mission Planning, e.g., during DTCP. So please substitute blank-sky coordinates appropriate to your constraints. These observations repeat observations scheduled in cycle 80 (OD 1301v1). Please make sure that the blank-sky coordinates differ from those chosen for cycle 80 (20h32.0m, +23.0d). These 3 AORs should be scheduled against the current ASTR MC H102. AOT-blanksky-CH-repeat_dbs AOT-blanksy-CH-repeat_fsw1 AOT-blanksky-CH-repeat_fsw2 C. Diplexer Survey End-Of-Mission These 8 AORs aim at verifying the calibration/stability of the HIFI diplexers. They do not need to point at any target and can be scheduled during DTCP. There are no scheduling constraints as far as HIFI is concerned. We propose that these tests be used to "fill" HIFI DTCPs in cycles 81--83. In order to efficiently fill a DTCP, we recommend scheduling these tests in pairs as indicated below; this is not a requirement, though. HIFI should be prime for these tests, a prior LO SWON is not a pre-requisite but 1) can be opportunisitcally scheduled if it helps efficiency to fill in the DTCP, and 2) will improve the data quality. Please schedule these 8 AORs against the current CAL MC H105.
