Usually there are two nod positions and two grating scans for each wavelength range, unless the observer had requested more scans and/or repeats of the nods. If there were no extra requested nod or scan repetitions, the slice order is: - wavelength range 1 nod B scan up, - wavelength range 1 nod B scan down, - wavelength range 1 nod A scan up, - wavelength range 1 nod A scan down - Repeat for additional wavelength ranges The number of nod and scan repetitions can be obtained from the standard download (SPG) of the observation from the HSA (PacsObsSummary). The number of slices reported on here will always exceed the number of spectral tables produced by the POC pipeline, since these tables are created from combined nods and scans.
