The meeting will be concentrated mainly on Herschel stray light analysis and Herschel payload alignment. As an introduction, Astrium-France will provide a short presentation on the progress of the telescope development but this will not be the main topic of the agenda as there will be a MTR (Mid-Term Review) end of November on the telescope itself for which an agenda will be sent later on. Main objectives of the meeting are to get a proper and common understanding of the optical system of Herschel and to identify the open points with clear actions to tackle them. Please note that the meeting date cannot be moved due to the HST taking place on Nov 15 and 16, 2001. We know unfortunately that this is giving problem for our HIFI collegues but we will make sure that they will be kept informed of the outcome of the meeting if they confirmed that they are unable to come. To my knowledge, comments have already been done by Alcatel and SPIRE teams on the plan. In order to be able to prepare your access to Estec, we will be grateful to get well in advance the list of your participants by company/ consortium.
